Pennsylvania Publication Requirement Pennsylvania has a publication requirement. Pennsylvania requires you to publish either the intent to file or the actual filing of Articles of Incorporation. Publication must be made in 2 newspapers of general circulation. One such publication must be in a legal journal if possible. You do not need to present proof of publication with your filing or otherwise file it with the Corporations Bureau, but you must be certain to place proof that publication has been made in your corporate minute book. The statement of publication must include that the corporation has been formed under the provisions of BCL 1988. It must also contain the name of the corporation. Pennsylvania has a list of approved journals for publication of these notices that you should consult to determine where you wish to make your publication. LIST OF LEGAL JOURNALS FOR PUBLICATION
