Corporate Directors In Oklahoma Corporations

Oklahoma Law requires each corporation to have a Board of Directors.

Your Oklahoma Forms are set up to name one person as an initial director to act as the registered agent. Your Corporate Kit documents then later elect the full board of directors, assuming there will be more than one director.

The Board of Directors in a Oklahoma corporation may consist of one or more persons.

Each Director must be at least 18 years of age.

Directors do not need to be residents of the state of incorporation.

All corporate powers of a corporation are exercised by or under the authority of the Board of Directors. The business and affairs of the corporation is managed under the direction the Board of Directors.
