Filing Fees For Maryland Incorporations Maryland charges $100.00 for a basic filing fees for a new incorporation. There is an additional organizational fee of $20 and additional $20 fee for a certified copy. Your form documents include a total of $140.00 for filing fees. NOTE - in Maryland, the number of shares of stock have implications for the amount of filing fee you will need to pay. Your form documents are set up for the minimum filing fees. If the aggregate of par value times the number of shares exceeds $100,000, or if there are more than 5,000 shares of NO PAR stock authorized, your filing fee will be more than the minimum and your documents will require adjustment. Maryland provides an online calculator for calculating the fees that you must include with your filing. All fax filings are considered expedited filings and require an additional $50.00 fee. If you use the fax filing option, use the FAX COVER SHEET form that Maryland provides.
